Top albums of 2012

Posted January 3, 2013 By admin

Well, another year has come and gone, and it’s time to post my favorite albums of the past year. 2012 seemed to lack a lot of depth in terms of quality albums. There are a few great ones at the top of the list, but once you get past the first 6 or 7, the quality starts to fade fast. That’s not to say they are bad albums, but there just weren’t many that wowed me this year. I will say this though, there were definitely a lot of great songs released this year, so keep a look out for that list coming in the next couple days. Here’s the list of my top albums from 2012.

Honorable mentions:
Sixpence None The Richer- Lost In Translation
Fiona Apple- The Idler Wheel…
Justin Bieber- Believe
R. Kelly- Write Me Back
DMX- Undisputed

Merry Christmas

Posted December 25, 2010 By admin

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope everybody is staying safe and warm. Our family exchanged presents and had dinner earlier today and it just reminds me how thankful I am for everything I have. I come from a big family (9 brothers and sisters), so there is never a dull moment here. Well, anyways, since this is mainly a music blog, here are some great Christmas songs I’ve been digging lately, including my favorite Christmas song ever, “Christmastime Is Here“. Hope everyone is doing good, I’m about to head back to watching A Christmas Story for the 6th time this Christmas!

  • Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas- She & Him (ft. Conan O’Brien on guitar)
  • Santa Papi- Maria Isa
  • Christmas Day- Dido
  • Silent Night- Sixpence None The Richer
  • Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas- Judy Garland
